Having spent over a decade working within the construction industry, for both ourselves and larger companies, we have made the decision to set our stall out as The Lead Lads

We are from Yorkshire, we don’t like to use too many words!
Let’s talk a little bit about us.
We are a small organisation of highly skilled, highly motivated leadworkers based in Leeds, West Yorkshire.
During the course of our careers in the Roofing Industry, we have honed our craft and are now ready to take the leap into the world of business.
Over the yers, we have been lucky enough to carry out lead roof installations on some of the UK’s finest buildings.
Our portfolio of work is, if we do say ourselves, impressive.
With some help from a larger organisation, we are ready to develop our business into one of the UK’s leading leadwork specialists.
The quality of what we produce is of paramount importance to us.
Customer service is something that we are focused on painting as one of our priorities.
Specialist leadwork services…
Setting our stall out has been relatively simple so far.
With only one core focus we are not trying to be all things to all people.
Instead, we are leadworkers, plain and simple.
We can of course assist with roof build ups and design for lead roof areas, but our skill set is working with lead.
The services that we can offer are outlined by our website.
However, the list is not exhaustive and we will evolve as we grow.
The services on offer can be described as follows:

- Installation of Lead Dormers
- Provision of Lead Gutters and lead gutter linings
However, more services are likely to be added as our business develops.
We have equipped ourselves with the latest plant and equipment, an up to date fuel efficient vehicle and always carry the same everywhere we go.
Moreover, we have not limited our craft to a single location.
As part of our new enterprise we are willing to work nationally.
Our services are comprehensive, however, they have one common theme, lead!
Further, our quotation ad invoicing systems are state of the art and cloud based.
We operate on a simple labour and materials basis and will always set our quotations this way.
Our early investment in technology will streamline our business form the start.
Who will we work for?

Currently, our clients range from householders, wanting lead bays, to large commercial contractors.

Do we supply materials?
Yes, we insist on supplying our own materials for each project.
The reason for this is to retain control over quality.
Further, we can be assured of delivery times to avoid delays.
To keep thins simple, we have negotiated terms with one single supplier for lead and sundry items.
What about substrates and Insulation
At the current time, our focus is on installing quality leadwork.
However, for smaller projects we are happy to construct the relevant substrates.
On larger commercial projects we may look to the main contractor to do this on our behalf.
Health & Safety
As part of a larger organisation, we have a team working in the background.
We are able to quickly and effectively provide all relevant heath and safety documentation.
Further, we have ourselves undergone training for this in relation to our craft.
Payments and invoices
Again, we strive to keep things simple.
Each project will be priced based upon its own merits. If you wish to engage us, you can do so using our online system.
Thereafter, invoices will be sent upon completion of the work
For particularly material intensive projects, we may ask for a contribution in advance.
Once the work is complete we will forward an invoice for payment.
Our preferred terms are 7 days. However, longer periods are available by advance negotiations.
